Going into college

  1. Nov 9, 2004 #1
So I'm a senior in highschool and I'm applying to college, most likely I'll be going to Colorado State University.

I'm planning on going into the engineering field. More specifically, Engineering Science OR Computer Engineering.

I don't really know much about either of these majors and I was hoping those of you who have gone into the engineering field could maybe narrow my decision down a little bit and give me some information about the things each major would entail.

I'm interested in the kinds of things I will be doing in college that pertain to these majors (not the general courses you take in the first 2 years). Also anything post-college for those here who have graduated and are a working engineer nowadays.

Any insight you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
