Gold mining

    1. potassium cyanide is added to a powder containg pure gold and rock and reacts with gold in the presence of oxygen to form potassium gold cyandie and potassium hydroxide. what is the balance equation?


    zinc is than added it reacts wwith potassium gold cyanide. what happens than? what is the balance equation?

    The company that uses and created a liquid version of the cyanide as opposed to the brick form is Cyanco. Look them up on google.
