Just got an A in electricity and magnetism/sound and waves! FWIW, I've only recently discovered physics. In HS I studied jazz and went off to Berklee, did music full time for a while and have now at 25 returned to school and remembered my passion (and, erm, aptitude) for science. wahoo! I guess this is my introduction, too... I might as well state that I'm mad into fish and love keeping reef tanks. I used to be into recording/engineering and ran a smallish studio in Ames, Iowa for a couple years. I'll be taking a year off of school to gain my California residency and then will (likely) study bio-phyics at UCLA. In the mean time I'm planning on using video lectures(I love itunesU) and of course traditional materials to stay sharp. I'm also hoping this forum will keep me keep my brain in shape and get ahead for when I start at UCLA. Be prepared for a lot of questions from an occasionally absent-minded self-motivated me. Feel free to direct me to some 'essential' readings. Maybe I should have left it at "ahoy-hoy!"
