Grad school applications

Do grad school admissions for math typically involve interviews?

I can't find this on the official websites, but it seems like some do from a few friends I talked to.

If so, what are they like? Does it mainly involve talking about what sort of research you are interested in doing?

Unsure about math, but if you apply to a Physics grad school, seek a prof whose research interest are aligned with your skills. If a professor would express an interest in you, all you need to do is pass the GREs and go through the formal application process.
    All the best!
