Group Theory - Which Forum

  1. Sep 1, 2008 #1
Hi, I'm not finding group theory listed in any of the other math forums on physicsforums.com... so I'm wondering if it belongs here in the General Math forum or in another?

    Try the Set Theory forum.

EDIT: Ok it's a little confusing because abstract algebra is separate from set theory. Think you should post it in the abstract algebra forum instead.

Group theory is a sub-set of Abstract Algebra. Try the Abstract Algebra and Linear Algebra forum.
