Hmm...you can still make a cake with it, if that's what you mean. Here's the recipe:

It has been bugging me that the cake looked a little familiar. Really, it kept reminding me of something I have eaten! Now I remember!!!

While I was in Peru [for a job], I was served all sorts of new and fascinating delights for lunches. The dinners were great but lunches were something else. There were many different fruit juices that I had never tasted, that were really quite good, and along with some other unfamiliar items on my plate that were not so good [as was usually the case], for the first time in a week, there sat something that I knew I would like - a big fat piece of white cake covered with colored sprinkles. Mmmmmmmmmmm, I couldn't wait. Up until then everything had been vegetables, fruit juices, a little fish, and very small portions of some very tough beef. Finally I had a nice fat piece of cake to satisfy my processed junk food cravings. I ate everything else first, as a matter of etiquette, and finally made my way to that wonderful cake. Finally, the first big bite and...what...mashed potatoes??? What the...? The colored speckles were ground vegetable pieces, and the inside was something else..I still don't know what it was but it tasted like that cake looks! Talk about a surprise!!!
