    To IVAN : I really hope the 26th year is gonna rock and i really hope i will be able to do something nice and usefull with my PhD. We'll see.

    To DIMITRI : Merci jong, ik zal der zeker een goeie lap op geven vandaag, alleen was ik wel drie uur te laat op het IMEC. Ik kon nie uit mijn bed...maar allez...Ik ben al zeer blij dat ik mijn IWT beurs heb. Hoe is het met de string theorie ? Ge zijt ng nie zot gedraaid ?

    Ik hoop dat je je amuseert. Proficiat met je IWT!! Ik ken verschillende mensen die er nu ook mee bezig zijn, en makkelijk te krijgen zijn ze niet bepaald. Wat de strings betreft, als je het echt moet weten ben ik instantonen aan het veralgemenen (holomorphe vectorbundels) in Euclidische zwaartekracht, om zo stringcorrecties te krijgen op de Einsteinvergelijkingen. Het gaat niet zo schitterend vooruit, maar ik heb net een verhelderende paper gevonden en ik ben weer goed op weg.

    I hope you're having fun. Congratulations on getting the IWT (governement scholarship for PhD students). I know several people who are trying to get one, and they're not easy to get. About the String Theory, if you really must know I'm generalising instantons to holomorphic vector bundles in Euclidean gravity, to get stringy corrections to the Einstein equations. It's going as well as I would like, but I've just found a paper that will be some help.

    Don't drink too much :wink:
