Heim theory in laymans terms

  1. Jun 28, 2012 #1
I don't know if this is the right forum or not, also, is there a specific forum on ftl travel? But can someone explain Heim theory to a high school student? I know the basics, and how it uses extreme gravitational forces to make the object/ship go to another dimension, where the speed of light is greater. But, since it uses gravity, and can create artificial gravity, couldn't it keep accelerating from point a to point b without turning around to decelerate, and so go super fast, then just stop at point b?
