Can Age Be a Barrier to Scientific Learning?

In summary, age may pose challenges to scientific learning, but it is not a definitive barrier. While older individuals may face cognitive decline and difficulty adapting to new technologies, research has shown that they can still acquire new knowledge and skills through targeted learning strategies and a growth mindset. Additionally, the experience and maturity that come with age can also be valuable assets in the scientific learning process. Therefore, while age may present some obstacles, it should not be seen as a barrier to scientific learning.

My name is Dennis and I am an amateur at best. I enjoy calculations and solving problems, but I am a bit rusty as I just started college classes and I'm going on 40. I've enjoyed reading through the forums and seeing the challenges presented. I'm blown away by the knowledge being passed around. Look forward to reading more and hopefully contributing in some way. Thanks!
