Help me in solving this equation

  1. Apr 18, 2010 #1
    Dear all
I have an equation which is as follows

    [D^4+(2*D^3)-(D^2)-(2*D)+(i/(l^4))]y=0

    where D=d/dz, l is a constant and i is a complex no.

I want to find out the roots of this equation. How can I find the roots. If there is any online calculator which is capable to do so please let me know.

    Thanks in advance
