Help requested for Formula Car Sensors

  1. Sep 5, 2012 #1
    Hey,
I'm a first year Electrical Engineering student and I've joined my university's formula car team. My ambition for the electronic components of the car is to have real-time information relayed from the car to a laptop from sensors for velocity, acceleration, stress, ect. If I can't do that I'd like to at least have some way of storing the information and being able to look at it after plugging into the car.
So what I'm asking for is any information anyone might have, links to websites or tutorials, or even textbooks that I could pick up that might put me on the right path. Even information on where to buy components and how to put the sensors on in an efficient and reliable way.

    Thanks,
    Caleb
