Help with Literature Search: need to determine # of citations of a topic

  1. Apr 4, 2012 #1
Hi, I am putting together a paper for a professor and he asked me to prepare a list that summarizes the different techniques for electrically characterizing nanowires. He also asked me to include how many citations each technique had received in the literature. I know that it is easy to determine how many many times a single paper or a single author has been cited but it it possible to also do this for a topic (like electron beam lithography contact technique)?

I can't think of a way but maybe you can!
    Thanks,
