HERV and Evolution

  1. Apr 14, 2003 #1
I just read a piece of a book that refers to the affect that HERV (human endogenous retroviruses) can have on the mutation of species - throughout the different generations. I was wondering if there was a site or book or some other such reference that I could look up, that has to do with research in this particular field.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Does no one have any information on this?

Perhaps the question was not clear. Does anyone have information - or a reference to information - about the affect of endogenous retroviruses on the evolution of the human species?

    Are there no other references/comments?
