Just saying hi. I'm a 55-year-old guy working my way through the Resnick/Halliday Physics 5th ed, and also a book on Linear Algebra. At the same time, I'm reading The Feynman Lectures on Physics and listening to the audios of his wonderful voice explaining stuff. Some of this is just for my own interest and some of it is because I tutor high school students in math and science and I'm always trying to deepen my skills and understanding. I'm also a fiction writer and a storyteller. The math and science doesn't pop up in the stories I tell at day care centers but stories do pop up in my teaching. And of course in my fiction writing I try to make sure all the math and science are correct. One of the agonies of being self-taught is that when you do get stuck, there's nobody to ask for help. Thank you all for having this forum here! I'll try to help others when I can.
