Can Joining Forums Help Overcome Academic Challenges in Physics?

I've looked at some of the threads on this forum before to help with homework but haven't actually joined until now. I am a PhD student in a medical biophysics program at a Canadian university. My school offers a CAMPEP accredited program which I am interested in entering, however the pre-requisites for the program are that you must have completed 3 third year undergraduate physics courses. I only did 1 during my undergrad, so I'm now taking 3rd year electromagnetic theory but I'm having some trouble with it because I took all the pre-reqs for the course about 4 years ago and I don't remember them very well. I'm hoping that making use of this forum will help me with some of the material that I don't remember or can't understand. I've already posted a question from one of my homework assignments, any help would be much appreciated.
