In summary, physics and machine learning are closely connected through the use of mathematical and computational methods to analyze and understand complex systems. Machine learning techniques can be applied to physics problems to model and predict physical phenomena, while concepts from physics such as statistical mechanics and quantum mechanics can be used to improve machine learning algorithms. Additionally, machine learning has been used to discover new physics theories and to analyze large datasets from experiments. The integration of physics and machine learning has the potential to revolutionize both fields and advance our understanding of the world.

I'm repairing my rusty math skills. I'm interested in machine learning and data mining. I see that a lot of things like Gibbs, MCMC, and whatnot actually come from physics hence I'm here
