In summary, insect radar technology has greatly improved hurricane warning systems by providing more accurate and timely information on the intensity and movement of storms. By detecting and tracking swarms of insects, meteorologists are able to better predict the path and strength of hurricanes, allowing for earlier and more effective evacuation and preparation measures. Additionally, the use of insect radar has also aided in understanding the environmental conditions that can influence hurricane development, further enhancing forecasting capabilities. Overall, the integration of insect radar has significantly improved the accuracy and reliability of hurricane warning systems, ultimately helping to save lives and mitigate the impact of these destructive storms.

Just joined this site. They tell me to introduce myself. I am a Metrologist specializing in electronics. Been in this field since 1980.
I'll just say that you can read guidelines, and receive alerts thereby awarding you points. here in England we had a semi-major hurricane in Midlands 9/10 yrs ago.
They had radar coverage around Birmingham ,tuned to insects' wingspans (or ½ wingspans) .They got the raw data, but the warning system hadn't been commisioned!
