In summary: It seems like it would be quite the turn on if you could actually control it.In summary, this game has an M rating for mature players, contains an in-game sex scene which is unlocked by playing the game in a "mature" mode, and is considered tame by some.

Because I just played a game that will make her flip her lid. As some of us know, she wanted a federal inquiry or something into Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for a sex scene that is unlockable via an online program.

Well I just played this game called "Indigo Prophecy". It has an M, for mature 17+, rating just like San Andreas. The game basically revolves around some guy being possessed and trying to understand why he killed this one guy. You also play as other characters that are trying to catch him. Now at one point in the game, I was shocked to see that there is an actual full blown, in-game sequence where you have sex with this girl. Completely naked, and you actaully control it! And it is part of the game (doesn't have to be unlocked, not bonus content, etc). It's as if the company who made this game is living under a rock or someone dropped a huuuuuuuuuuuuge ball here.

Now some people were kinda on the fence with the Grand theft auto thing but this is completely... fenceless. It was absolutely out of nowhere, you even had control, and there was nothing about this that could cause any doubt. I just got to say that someone realllllllllly screwed up here!

LOL you have missed the issue entirely.

First let me say her inquiry is entirely politically based and she is basically a closet Republican.

That said, the inquiry resulted from unlockable content put into GTA by the developers, that was initially hidden.

What you're talking about is not hidden content. Furthermore the game is M rated 17+ as you said, which is also a legal age for buying pornography.

As a complete aside, whether or not someone "really dropped the ball here" is a better question for the sick twisted culture of this nation, where conservatives consider sex taboo and killing acceptable.

hmmm.. looks like the developer was a company called Quantic Dream, which I am not familiar with, and the publisher is Atari. I am surprised Atari would go for something that edgy - especially since they have the wholesome and girl-friendly Her Interactive listed as a partner.

The import version has that. The domestic version does not have that.

Have you seen Playboy: The Mansion?
The whole premise is that you are Hugh Heffner getting girls to pose for Playboy and people to write articles and so forth. You also take control when ever you do a cover shoot and have the girls get naked and pose while you take the pics. You also have sex with the girls if you can flirt them into it. Doesn't matter where you are or if there are other people around. By doing this you can get them to be your girlfriend and they will pose for free.
I watched my friends play this. It's really actually quite boring. Alot like The Sims.

God of War
Aside from making sacrifices to the gods and so forth in the very first scene of the game you start out with your two wenches in your bedroom. You can make the character jump in bed with them and do the deed. You have to push the buttons in the right sequences while you do it in order to please them and you gain experience for your character by doing this. Through out the rest of the game about half of the cinematic scenes have topless women in them and even most of the ones who aren't topless are only wearing a shear piece of cloth that you can see right through. They also seem to have gone through great pains to be sure that the large free breasts moved and bounced in a very realistic manner.

Leasure Suit Larry
The entire point of this game is to get into the pants of as many girls as possible. Some of the challenges that you go through include taking pictures of naked girls and spanking a girl properly in order to get her off.

Video games just aren't what they used to be my feathered friend.

As a matter of fact, the original Leisure Suit Larry was released in 1987.

Yes, actually, I am. From what I can tell they don't publish many M-rated titles, and have only gotten into this in the last couple of years. I know them more for their classic arcade games and kids' titles, so there is a certain wholesomeness I associate with the brand image.

Yah, I also never would have expected Atari to be on this game... I'm very surprised to say the least.

mmorpgs suck. They are for children who are scared of living their own lives. They go into the little playworld where no one gets hurt and everyones happy like when they go into volcanos or fight vicious wolves or face walls of fire... whereas real adults take on real, scarier problems such as the DMV, taxes, and traffic.
