Stop spewing bullcrap about conciousness "collapsing the wave function"/"reducing the state vector". The reduction of the state vector is due to the "in principle knowability of the dynamical variable", not the "knowledge of the dynamical variable".

Simply put, if the preparation of the system is such that the dynamical variable of the representation is knowable, is implied, then the system "collapses" to an eigenvalue of the operator(dynamical variable). It simply has no dependence upon wether or not the system has actually been observed by some idiot somewhere(like Wigner or one of his friends perhaps). The "collapse" is solely dependent upon wether or not the dynamical variable COULD BE observed/known/measured for the given preparation. It's called IN PRINCIPLE KNOWABILITY.

And when we say IN PRINCIPLE or COULD BE knowable, we mean any possible measurement that is performable upon the current system at that point in time. IF you had the detectors and measurement apparratii set up to do so.

Death to the "conciousness collapse" interpretation.
