The question I have for my physics homework is "What does the velocity of an object need to be if it's Lorentz factor is 2?" I know the equation for the Lorentz factor is γ = 1/sq(1-(v^2/c^2)) I just don't know how to get the velocity out of it. I'm a bit of a math and physics noob so that might bit a slight problem aswell! :P Any help is appreciated!
