AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers around the dilemma of completing a post-baccalaureate degree at UPenn, which the individual finds worthless for their career aspirations. After starting the program in January 2011, health issues led to a pause in their studies, with professors holding grades. The individual is now faced with the expectation to take exams soon but feels the degree does not align with their career goals, particularly as they consider working in their father's business instead. The high tuition costs and external pressure from family, particularly a desire from their mother to enter the healthcare field, contribute to their uncertainty. The consensus suggests that if the individual does not see value in completing the exams, they should prioritize their own career interests over the degree.

I really don't want to complete these courses because this degree is worthless for the career of my choice. I vacated my house in Philadelphia. They expect me to take those exams this fall in a few days.

What should I do? You know that the tuition in UPenn is enormous and this degree is absolutely useless. I am also thinking about working for my dad's business which is more inline with what I want to do. The only reason I even did this post-bac is because my mom wanted me to go into the health care field.

I have attempted to break into the engineering industry with no success. Right now I am considering going for a Masters in Electrical Engineering and I need advice on if this would be...
