In summary, simplifying something means making it easier to understand or reducing it to its most basic form. It is important to simplify complex concepts because it makes them more accessible and understandable to a wider audience, aiding in communication and application of information. Scientists can simplify their research findings by breaking them down, using clear language, and providing visual aids. While simplification can sometimes lead to inaccuracies, it is the responsibility of scientists to accurately communicate their findings. Simplifying complex concepts can benefit society by increasing understanding and awareness of important information, facilitating evidence-based solutions, and promoting critical thinking skills.

b^2-a^2
-----------
b-a simplifies to a+b
I didn't think I could simply divide because of the subtraction.
Is that how this is simplified ?
If not then please give me a bump in the right direction.

Find out what you get by multiplying b-a and b+a.

do you know polynomial division? (btw, your result is valid only when a is not equal to b)
