I recommend http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=16-115-020&depa=0

8 on that on a raid, and 2 on raid array on board, so it isn't 10x array, but nobody needs that kind of speed on HDDs anyway..

Installing 10 HDDs on your PC can be a bit tricky and will require some additional hardware. The first thing you need to consider is whether you actually need all 10 HDDs. If you are planning on using them for storage purposes, you may want to consider using a network attached storage (NAS) device instead. This will free up space in your PC and allow for easier access to your files.

If you do decide to install the 10 HDDs on your PC, you will need to make sure your motherboard has enough SATA ports to support all of them. You may need to purchase a SATA expansion card if your motherboard does not have enough ports.

As for the actual installation process, you will need to open up your PC case and locate the empty drive bays. You will also need to make sure you have enough power supply cables to connect all of the HDDs. Once you have all of the HDDs installed, you will need to connect them to your motherboard using SATA cables.

Now, as for RAID, it depends on what you plan on using the HDDs for. RAID (Redundant Array of Independent Disks) is a method of combining multiple hard drives to improve performance and/or data redundancy. If you are planning on using the HDDs for storage, RAID may not be necessary. However, if you are planning on using them for a specific purpose such as video editing or gaming, RAID can provide a performance boost.

In terms of hardware, you will need to purchase the additional HDDs, SATA cables, and possibly a SATA expansion card if needed. You may also want to consider investing in a RAID controller if you plan on using RAID.

Overall, installing 10 HDDs on your PC can be a complex process and it is important to carefully plan and research before making any purchases. It may be helpful to consult with a professional or seek online tutorials for guidance.

What is the maximum number of HDDs that can be installed on my PC?

The maximum number of HDDs that can be installed on a PC is typically determined by the number of available drive bays on the motherboard and the size of the computer case. Some high-end motherboards may have more drive bays, allowing for more HDDs to be installed.

Do all HDDs have the same installation process?

No, the installation process may vary depending on the brand and model of the HDD. It is important to refer to the manufacturer's instructions for specific installation guidelines.

Do I need any special tools to install 10 HDDs on my PC?

Generally, no special tools are required for installing HDDs. However, it is recommended to have a screwdriver on hand to secure the HDDs in place.

Can I install both SSDs and HDDs on my PC?

Yes, most modern motherboards have both SATA and M.2 ports, allowing for the installation of both SSDs and HDDs. However, it is important to check the available ports and compatibility of the drives before installation.

How do I ensure proper airflow and cooling for 10 HDDs on my PC?

Proper airflow and cooling are important for the performance and longevity of your HDDs. Make sure to leave enough space between each HDD for air to circulate and consider adding additional case fans for better cooling.
