Hybrid engine controller

  1. Apr 18, 2004 #1
I'm working on a hybrid engine project but its hard to find any info on the controller.... does anyone know what are the common inputs/outputs and does the conroller itself regulate the power source (engine/motor) or is there a seperate system to do this?

Another thing what is the best way to calculate engine mileage?.

When you mention controller, are you reffering to the power supply, or something that would effectively be your gas pedal?

If your using a dc motor, the power supply should be rather simple, and you can use something like a potentiometer (spelling?) to throttle the motor.

Perhaps a bit more info on the components your using?
