Hi, I am not sure if anybody here will be able to help me but someone recommended I vist the Statistics Forum so here I am .

I am an English Legal tranlator and currently I am working on a translation about a machine that runs roll test of gearsets. Within the Measurement system, it talks about a frequency analysis to check the quality of the gearset. And it mentions the terms Bin Tolerance and Bin Width. Does anybody know what this is? :confused: :confused: I have tried to find a definition for Bin other than Container and I had no success. I hope someone can tell me what this is about or where I can find information on it. Thanks in advance, Analia.
