i know what i need, now do i get it?:)

    .. i mean "how" do i get it... :P

this is for a flash application that uses sliders to adjust your weight

this is what i would like:

    when pounds = 125, then x = 0
when pounds = 150, then x = 14 (this number was rounded, something close is what i need)
    when pounds = 300, then x = 100

i would like a function that can accept 2 ranges of weight, the above example shows the range 125 to 300, i would also like this function to be able to accept a range of 100 - 300.

for the second range it should work like this:

    when pounds = 100, then x = 0
when pounds = 150, then x = 25 (this number was rouned, something close is what i need)
    when pounds = 300, then x = 100

this is probably perdy easy, but im stuck!, thanks alot for your time, hope you can help!
