I need help

    The ke energy of a car is 8 x 10 to the 6 J as it travels along a horizontal road. How much work is required to stop the car in 10 s.

    I have ke(f) - ke(i) = work
    o-8 x 1o to 6=-8 x 10 to 6th is this correct

    That's right. The work required to stop the car in any amount of time (assuming no frictional losses) is just equal to the negative of its initial kinetic energy.
