Impulse momentum method for linear motion

  1. Jul 18, 2012 #1
Hi guys, I would like to ask how do you determine where the force is +ve or -ve for this topic.

Do you follow the conventional way :forces pointing Right --> +ve, <-- left -ve?

If you like, sure. (Sign conventions are arbitrary, so use whatever your instructor uses.)
