A Including positive charges in many body quantum mechanics

  1. Jan 24, 2017 #1
In the Hartree approx, Hartree-Fock, CI, DFT etc. the self consistent field method has a set of single particle equations that are solved iteratively.

How do you add positive particles into the mix? I don't mean heavy nuclei, I mean lighter objects, e.g. a system of 2 electrons, 2 holes and an external potential.
