Induced Current for a Solenoid Pulled Away From Loop

  1. Apr 15, 2013 #1
    1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data

    Sorry for the blurry picture.
If the coil is being pulled away from the loop shown to the right, in what direction is the current induced in the loop?

    2. Relevant equations
    right-hand rules

    3. The attempt at a solution
I assumed it to be clockwise just from looking at the direction of the current flow through the coil. I don't see how to do the problem using the right hand rule or considering the direction that the coil is moved away.
