Is it ok not to reply to professor's email during weekends?

In summary, after inquiring about undergraduate research, the professor responded positively and requested a CV. It is acceptable to send it on Monday and it is recommended to acknowledge the email and mention that the CV will be sent at some point that day. It shows professionalism and consideration for their time.

After asking a professor about undergraduate research on Friday, I received a positive reply that very evening. The professor also asked me to send him my CV. Hovewer, it would take me some time to make it. Would it be ok to send the CV on Monday, or is it rude to take more time than him to reply?

You could possibly acknowledge the receipt of his email, and state you are preparing your CV and it will be sent at some point on Monday.

I agree with this. Just state that you're preparing it and making sure it's up to date.
