Hi all,

I read in an article and met this:
"..without a paddle in sight" or " .. no paddle in sight".. Is this a proverb and what is the meaning?

Thanks

I'm not sure it's a proverb, but you may be thinking of the phrase "up a creek with no paddle". If so, it means you're in a sticky situation with no obvious way out.
