Is This Book Any Good?

    Hey, so I want to learn calculus this summer on my own and I got Thomas' Calculus Eleventh Edition, is it any good? Does anyone have any otheer book suggestions?

    I think that Thomas' Calculus is a great text for a self studier. It probably is not as rigorous as something like Spivak, to be honest, Spivak makes me want to shoot myself in the face. I think that Thomas provides a proper balance between rigor and intuition, which, in my opinion, is a great approach for self study.
