ISD2500 series provide high quality, single chip. record/playback solution messaging applications. In addition, the ISD2500 is microcontroller compatible, allowing complex messaging and addressing to be achieved. But the matter is, how i am going to retrieve the file that i already save in the ISD2500?? how to know the address??

Hi Cresent,

I did not know what the ISD2500 was, so I googled ISD2500 message record, and got lots of hits. The first one on the list is a description of a project using the device. Check out that one and the other hits on the list to see if it helps:

BTW, this is probably for the phone project that you're working on for visually impared people, right?

1. What is the ISD2500 series chip used for?

The ISD2500 series chip is a type of non-volatile audio playback and record chip. It is commonly used in applications such as toy and game sound effects, voice recorders, and audio greeting cards.

2. How does the ISD2500 series chip store audio?

The ISD2500 series chip uses a unique technology called Multi-Level Storage (MLS) to store audio. This allows it to store multiple recordings in a small amount of memory space.

3. What is the maximum recording time of the ISD2500 series chip?

The maximum recording time of the ISD2500 series chip depends on the specific model and the sampling rate used. However, it can range from a few seconds to several minutes.

4. Can the ISD2500 series chip be reprogrammed?

Yes, the ISD2500 series chip can be reprogrammed multiple times. This allows for the audio recordings to be changed or updated as needed.

5. How is the ISD2500 series chip controlled?

The ISD2500 series chip can be controlled through a microcontroller or through a serial interface. It also has additional features such as trigger inputs and power-down modes for more advanced control.
