I had surgery on Friday to remove a kidney stone (1 inch in diameter). All did not go well, but the stone is out and I am still kicking. Was it good luck or bad?Niels Bohr said:(Speaking of his lucky horseshoe) Of course I don't believe in it but I'm told it brings you luck whether you believe in it or not.
But I didn't get the stone on Friday the 13th. I had it removed on Friday. The operation did not go smoothly so it was bad luck. But the operation did work so it was good luck. I think superstition requires a selective memory.yomamma said:Bad. good would've been if you never goth the kidney stone in the first place :uhh:

Where can I get sodium? Does it grow under the rim of the toilet, or maybe around the shower drain?Danger said:You can always flush a couple of kilos of sodium and exit via the roof.
Four sounds like the word death in Chinese. And another unlucky number in China is 9413 which sounds like a chinese proverb which means 'slim chance of survival' or 'nine die one lives'. That's what google tells me.stoned said:which number Chinese people fear the most ? maybe 4 ?
