Homework Help: Laplace Transform question

  1. Dec 3, 2009 #1
    1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data

    Find the Laplace Transform of:

    f(t) = {0, t < 5
    t2 - 10t + 31, t[tex]\geq5[/tex]

    2. Relevant equations

    3. The attempt at a solution

    The answer I got was:

    F(s) = e-5s (2/s3 + 6/s)

    Is this correct?

Yes. It's right. You didn't really NEED help, did you?

I just wanted to make sure it was correct. My book wasn't very clear on how to do the problem, so I wasn't sure. Thanks for confirming my answer. I really appreciate it.
