Lattice bolztmann - what exactly are regularized boundaries

  1. Jul 10, 2010 #1
I'm picking thru some D2Q9 code, and saw some boundaries call Regularized boundaries that handled walls for north, east, west, south walls. For each wall the following is computed (east for example): Rho, velocity, and pi(have no clue what this is). Not much to go and haven't been successful w/ google. There are articles, but I was hoping it would be part of a lecture notes. My question is: what are regularized boundaries in the context of lattice boltzmann, and where can I find more material on the matter.

    Thanks,

    Monty
