Here's a question: Is 5 weeks long enough to cover final year syllabuses in quantum mechanics and solid state physics? I've got a feeling it isn't, but that's all I was given. What's more, the exam is tomorrow and nobody is sure what's going to be in it. The past papers are full of topics we didn't cover, and there are no model solutions available. Personally I feel I've been cheated out of an education in the subjects, and as one of the minority of Scottish undergrad students who doesn't have their tuition paid by government, I'm tempted to bring it up as an issue with the university.
