Lim sup

  1. Feb 19, 2008 #1
    1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data

show that if Xn is bounded and Xn>=Yn for all n, then lim sup Xn >= lim sup Yn

    2. Relevant equations

    3. The attempt at a solution

I know that if I can show that y<= some fixed number, then I can show that lim sup y<=that number, but I'm not sure how to show that Yn<a fixed number...
