So I have done a lab involving how Magnetic Field Strength varies with distance from a magnet. using a magnetic field sensor, some recording software, a meter stick a magnet.
From this I gathered the fact that as distance increases magnetic field strength decreases exponentially rather than linearly. I finished the lab writeup, but now I am having some troubles talking about weaknesses and limitations and how to realisticly fix them. So far I have said "The weaknesses of the lab was that there are already previous existing magnetic fields in the room, which may interfere with the data collected. A realistic solution to this is to compensate for magnetic fields by finding its strength and effect on the sensor, and subtract it from the data. "
I also want to include a chart showing a magnet's magnetic field strength radius increasing exponentially when measuring b, but I couldn't find it in my notes. How would I draw this chart?
