Linear algebra book and other questions

    i just finish a intro lin algebra/de course. i'm looking for a more advanced lin algebra book that would be a step up from the intro book. also, what course should i take after this?

    i had success with lang's linear algebra book (he has two--get the junior level version) as well as axler's "linear algebra done right."

    the best linear algebra book is probably hoffman and kunze.

    after you get off the ground you might try a real graduate algebra book like lang, or sah, or even a great undergraduate algebra book, by Michael Artin called Algebra.
