Logarithm Question

  1. Oct 20, 2013 #1
    Hello all,

    Am I right in assuming that [itex]log(\frac{3}{5}) = \frac{log3}{log5}[/itex]?

    Thanks,

    No...This is wrong .

    Remember log(a/b) = loga - logb and log(ab) = loga + logb
