    Logarithms and Intensity---HELP ASAP!

    1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data
    a)What is the intensity of sound at 123 dB?

    b)Compare it to that of a whisper at 20 dB.

    2. Relevant equations

    something with logarithms??

    Inensity is equivalent to power and so the ratio of power is
    L = 10* log * (P1/P0)

    Where Log is the base 10 log ( labbled Log on your calculator)
