In summary, "BBC Comedy Look Around You" is a British television comedy series that parodies educational science programs from the 1970s and 1980s. It was created by Peter Serafinowicz and Robert Popper and aired from 2002 to 2005. The show presents itself as a genuine educational program, but the content is absurd and satirical. It uses deadpan humor and fake science to poke fun at the style and format of old science shows. Just came across this hilarious BBC comedy, titled "Look Around You." Apparently it's a spoof of educational programs broadcast in Britain in the 70s and 80s, but it's still funny if you didn't grow up with those programs.

A couple of episodes:

I find the BBC comedy "Look Around You" to be a clever and entertaining spoof of educational programs from the 70s and 80s. The use of outdated technology and exaggerated scientific explanations adds a comedic element to the show, making it enjoyable for both those who grew up watching similar programs and those who did not. The episodes on the brain and water are particularly clever in their use of humor to explain complex scientific concepts. However, it's important to remember that this is a comedy and not a factual educational program, so it should be taken with a grain of salt. Overall, I appreciate the humor and creativity of "Look Around You" and would recommend it as a lighthearted watch for anyone interested in science or nostalgic for 70s/80s British television.
