Looking for aerostatic/dynamic resources

  1. Sep 13, 2011 #1
Hello, I'm working on a project right now, and I'd like a little guidance. I need to model a system of two bodies, one being a large chamber at very low pressure, and the other a small chamber at relatively atmospheric pressure. A valve or valves will be added to the small chamber to allow rapid evacuation of the air inside. I'll need to model the fluid flow out of the valve.
I know this is really basic, but if anyone could even point me to the specific area of study it would be a big help. I'm new to this and have been given the task of modeling the system.
So if anyone could suggest some good textbooks or online resources, that would be really helpful. Thank you
