Looking for an expert on wankel rotary engines

  1. Jun 12, 2009 #1
Now i know that the Wankel engine increases the combustion chamber size from combustion till exhaustion. However I have recently learned there are hiccups where the engine halts briefly. If someone could explain these hiccups and there effects on the cycle i would greatly appreciate it. Also if they could explain, if in fact these hiccups were intensified, what would happen.

If you don't know what the Wankel engine is here is a good starting point..
