LyX Trouble

  1. Aug 28, 2006 #1
When I try to run LyX, this error message comes up: Cannot run LaTex. The path to the file cannot contain any spaces. What does this mean?

    What OS are you on?
BTW, I think you're on the wrong forum. ;)

It means exactly what it says... the path to the LaTeX binary cannot contain any spaces. As it likely does if, say, you are running windows and install it into "C:\Program Files".
