Magnitude vs Direction

    What is the difference? I think magnitude is the distance from x right? But what is distance? total length traveled?

    Before people start galloping off in all different directions with their answers, it might help if you clarify your question. Are you asking about vectors, by any chance? Are you asking about direction (what you have in the title) or about distance (what you have in your actual post)?

    Whoops, yea it is vectors. and it is magnitude and direction.
