Homework Help: Make something radioactive

    How would i go about making something radioactive?

    could I just blast it with beta radiation?

    Materials and objects are normally made radioctive by contaminating the surface with a radioactive material.
    But if you mean induced radioactivity - that is converting a non-radioactive element to a radioctive form - it depends on the element. The normal method is to add neutrons but not all elements have a reachable radioactive isotope.

    Can't think of any isotopes of the top of my head.
