Master of Engineering requirements less stricter?

Hey guys, I was wondering if the Master of Engineering programs without a thesis have a lower admission requirement than a Master of Science degree with a thesis.

I'm sure that most schools will still have the 3.0 minimum requirement but I think they don't look too heavily on research experience. Does anyone know how they consider gpa and gre scores when considering a master of engineering degree?

I know some schools have the oppositte where the MS degree is without the thesis and the ME and has one.
